    Information for Advertisers

XCskiIndiana.com is looking for a few good sponsors! The 2009 season was our first full season online, and the growth has been extraordinary. Here are a few of the many reasons you should grow with us!

    Articles Relevant to your Business

Most Cross Country Ski websites today fail to meet the needs of the average recreational skier. Topics such as "How to Maintain Waxless Skis" and "How to Choose the Right Skis" were virtually non-existent until XCskiIndiana.com came online. Now, articles such as "The Health Benefits of Cross Country Skiing" are ranking in the top 5 spots in search results for relevant keywords. This means that recreational skiers and those new to Nordic skiing are finally finding what they are looking for, and they are finding it here.  Indiana skiers are finding us on page one of Google for various keyword searches, particularly keywords relevant to places to ski, and where to buy skis.

If your online retail business, or Indiana located brick-and-mortar store, specializes in XC skis or rollerskis and gear, waxes and tools, or outdoor clothing and accessories, then XCskiIndiana.com is the perfect marketing choice for you.

    Advertisement Placement

We have four ad spaces available, all in the left column beneath the heading "Visit Our Sponsors", and your ad would appear on every page of the site with the exception of the home page, the forum pages, and the contact form. All ad spaces are 160px x 160px. Ad placement location within the page is at the XCskiIndiana Webmaster's discretion.

    Format Requirements

Formats for advertisement images may be .jpg, .png, .gif. We may convert or compress the image at our discretion. We will not accept animated GIF's or FLASH of any kind without prior approval. Be sure to include the link to your website. Text only ads are also acceptable --just submit your text with any formatting notes (bold, italic, colors, etc.)

    Pricing and Payment

For the 2009/2010 season, each ad space is available for $20 per month, OR 12 months for $90 (yes, it's a great bargain due to the seasonal nature of skiing!). Your ad will be run within 48 hours upon receipt of your ad image/text and payment. We will send you an email at least ten days before the end of your ad run with the option to renew for another month or year. Payment is via Google Checkout, or by check. All invoices are by email unless a mailed copy is requested.

NOTICE:   We have made the decision to remove all Google Ads by Novemeber 14th!   We believe that this is the most fair way to treat our local advertisers. We support our local Indiana businesses!
